Our current Resource Partner profile is Nikki Cortinas from Conviva, a network of Primary Care physicians with a unique focus on positive patient outcomes. Nikki is on the Community Engagement and Broker Relations Teams. There are 9 Conviva Care Centers [Hyperlink to “Meet Conviva” flyer] in Corpus Christi, each with 2-4 physicians, all accepting new patients. Each physician sees on average 10 patients a day and patients have access to care 24/7 via phone to help ensure they are keeping their patients healthy. 

Conviva Care Centers accepts a variety of Medicare advantage plans as well original Medicare. Conviva has a broker relations team to help ensure patients are maximizing their health insurance benefits.  

Conviva Wellness Centers 

Conviva centers host classes and social activities for seniors, helping to combat loneliness and promote social interaction, which are important factors in overall well-being. Anyone 55 and over is welcome, patient or not. 

Personal Background

Nikki joined Conviva 2.5 years ago after working in healthcare marketing. In her past roles, Nikki became aware of the access to care issues in the Coastal Bend area, especially for the Federal insurances, Medicare, Medicaid, and Tricare population. Helping bridge that gap with health insurance and access to care issues was something Nikki understood and now has a pleasure of serving and educating our Coastal Bend senior community by being able to provide that with the all the benefits Conviva Care Centers has to offer Medicare beneficiaries. 

Nikki does community outreach to a variety of senior groups, including those residing in assisted living communities with out-of-town families who are in need of a PCP or just looking for a more proactive approach to your loved-ones care.

In her spare time, Nikki is a competitive tennis player on the U.S. Tennis Association (USTA) Her and her women’s team travel to play competitively all over Texas and most recently went to Las Vegas to play in Racquet Wars, which is played all over the world. Last year Nikki’s women’s 18 and over team almost represented Texas at Nationals but lost 2-3 in the finals! Nikki also has a 9-year-old daughter that keeps her busy.
