Professional Career

Trey’s career as a real estate broker spanned various high-profile brokerages in north Texas and now in south Texas.  He was named co-Broker of the Year by the Collin County Association of Realtors for his contributions to affordable housing in the DFW area.

Prior to his current role with Coastal Bend Real Estate, Trey worked as the Executive Vice President for Berkshire Hathaway Home Services, helping the north Texas division with top 5 production in units and sales for North America.  Before joining Berkshire Hathaway, he was the Broker of Record for Carrington Real Estate Services from 2009 to 2018.

Personal Background

Trey was raised in Austin, then chose to raise his family in McKinney, Texas, north of Dallas, alongside his wife, Brittin.  After raising a son and daughter and devoting their time and love to parenting, Trey and Brittin moved to Corpus Christi to be closer to family and to get away from the ‘big city’. Trey transitioned his successful Dallas business to Corpus and has grown exponentially since then.

Prior to entering real estate, Trey earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Muscle Physiology from Rice University and a Master of Science degree in Muscle Physiology from Texas A&M University College Station.  Trey played football via a scholarship at Rice University, graduated Summa Cum Laude, and completed graduate school at Texas A&M while coaching the football team as a graduate assistant. He was then hired by the University of Richmond as the head strength & conditioning coach at the University of Richmond for twenty-seven sports.  These experiences instilled in Trey the discipline it takes to build one of the most powerful real estate brokerage networks in Texas. Over the course of eighteen years, Trey has brokered First Preston Real Estate, Carrington Real Estate Services and Berkshire Hathaway Real Estate Services.  All offices were ranked in the top 5% of sales for their individual markets.

Community Service

Of course, life isn’t all about work with Trey. When he isn’t assisting his agents develop their business, he gives back to his community. Trey is a fourth degree Knight with the Knights of Columbus who provide coats to local Catholic charities and provides financial assistance to the church.  He organizes his Catholic Church St. John the Baptiste’s Fish Fry, partnering with the Knight of Columbus and Villa South Assisted Living & Memory Care. Trey also participates in the Buc Days parade by being a member of the Bucaraders.  This group of volunteers assists in organizing the Buc Days Night Parade and Buc Days Junior Parade every year.  The Bucaraders are responsible for providing over seventy college aged students scholarships every year based on the applicants GPA and financial need.

In his spare time, Trey enjoys all that Corpus Christi has to offer.  He, alongside his family and friends, frequent the beaches, restaurants, and local events in the coastal bend.   During the football season, you may find Trey refereeing high school football games on Friday evenings.
